چکیده
The aim of current research is to develop flurbiprofen microemulsion gel for transdermal delivery. To prepare a oil, surfactant and co-surfactant selection one the important criteria. Selected different ratios oil mixture using ternary phase diagram. Based on results physicochemical properties, we have optimized formulation. formulation incorporated into carbopol P 934 base. In vitro diffusion drug release shown maximum (98.6% in 12hrs) prepared than marketed (60.5% 16 hrs).

متن کاملTadalafil Transdermal Drug Delivery Using Microemulsion Formulation in Laboratory Model
Background and purpose: Tadalafil has gained wide clinical acceptance in treatment of erectile dysfunction due to its long treatment window and lower potential for visual impairment. Transdermal drug delivery prevents systemic elimination, drug-drug and food-drug interactions, and reduces side effects by reducing the dose of the drug. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of microemu...
متن کاملDesign, Development, and Optimization of Dexibuprofen Microemulsion Based Transdermal Reservoir Patches for Controlled Drug Delivery
The aim of the study was to develop a reservoir-type transdermal patch for a controlled delivery of dexibuprofen and to evaluate its in vivo anti-inflammatory activity in Albino Wistar rats. In order to develop these patches, six formulations of dexibuprofen microemulsion comprising ethyl oleate, Tween 80: PG (2 : 1), and water were prepared by simplex lattice design and characterized. The rese...
متن کاملDesign, Development and In Vitro Characterization of Self Emulsifying Drug Delivery System for Irbesartan
The objectives of present investigations were to optimize concentration of oil, surfactant and cosurfactant by pseudoternary phase diagrams and to develop a stable formulation of self emulsifying drug delivery system (SEDDS) in order to enhance the dissolution rate of poorly soluble Irbesartan (IBS) by SEDDS. Pseudoternary phase diagrams were constructed to identify the self emulsifying region....
متن کاملFormulation and In-vitro Evaluation of Tretinoin Microemulsion as a Potential Carrier for Dermal Drug Delivery
In this study, tretinoin microemulsion has been formulated based on phase diagram studies by changing the amounts and proportions of inactive ingredients, such as surfactants, co-surfactants and oils. The effects of these variables have been determined on microemulsion formation, particle size of the dispersed phase and release profile of tretinoin from microemulsion through dialysis membrane. ...
